Verdee Vertical Compressed Bamboo Flooring

Verdee Vertical compressed bamboo flooring is made by arranging bamboo strips vertically (narrow edge facing upward) and bonding them under high pressure. Compared to horizontal compressed bamboo, the bamboo node pattern is finer and less prominent, featuring more parallel grain lines while retaining the natural bamboo character. It is a simpler, cleaner look suitable for flooring. Its hardness is comparable to teak and oak—softer than strand woven bamboo—making it ideal for spaces requiring greater flexibility and lower hardness, such as kindergartens, yoga studios, and sports venues.

Premium 4-5-year-old Mao bamboo is harvested, steamed or carbonized to remove sugars and starches, preventing pests and mildew. Moisture content is controlled at 8-12% for stability. Strips are bonded with eco-friendly resin adhesive under high pressure, resulting in denser bamboo fibers and a stronger structure.

Pattern Feature:

Vertical compressed bamboo flooring is made by bonding bamboo strips with the narrow edge facing upward under high pressure. The surface therefore shows fine, parallel vertical grain lines, with bamboo node patterns that are smaller and less prominent than the horizontal compressed style—giving a cleaner, simpler, and more modern look. This arrangement results in denser bamboo fibers and a stronger structure while retaining the natural linear beauty of bamboo, ideal for spaces seeking a subtle, natural aesthetic.
